Type: Action Skill Level: N/A
Players: 1 Available: March 2002

Fans of the original Deus Ex series could no doubt convey that Ion Storm's franchise could appopriately qualify as homage to The X-Files, a series, much like the upcoming installment - Deus Ex: The Conspiracy is composed of a web of intrigue, hidden agendas, among other areas that can't be explained. The sequel will put players in a world bent on collapse. The economy and social structure in shambles, and within the midst of the violence and suffering - an ancient conspiracy engineered to achieve world domination emerges from the shadows of legend.

The conspirators' greatest strength? Nothing is certain, other than the fact that everyone dismisses their existence to be nothing more than a myth. All except you...

The truth is out there...

Deus Ex: The Conspiracy combines elements of RPG, action and adventure as you engage in an epic quest full of plot twists and real world conspiracies. Players will journey throughout the world, including major cities like Hong Kong, New York and Paris...each faithfully recreated from detailed maps.

With civilization currently in an unstable state, survival is the key. Thus, the outcome of the game will be shaped upon the actions of your alter ego. Will you be the charismatic master manipulator, the shrewd and stealthy tactician, or the deadly avenging angel? Travel the globe building a network of allies and create an alter identity to aid you in your search for the truth. You'll encounter various characters, whose actions depend on the outcome of your decisions and consequences from start to finish. Naturally, the path to success will be anything but apparent...you'll need to devise stratetic tactics, steatlh and even force if necessary; using nanotech augmentations to assist in which weapons and items to employ. But be wary...as in the present state of things leaves no guarantee that anyone are as they seem - including allies you will encounter along the way. Expect the unexpected, and question everything!
