To date, I can't think of too many sprint racing games currently available on the market (though, if you want to be technical, there are plenty of racing adaptions - rally, F1 championship, etc.). World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars 2002 marks title to join its extended family of racing titles, set to capture the realism and dynamics of sprint car racing. Developed by Ratbag, Sprint Cars 2002 will offer a very distinct simulation feel, composed of a realistic AI engine and pyshics. Features include 24 official World of Outlaws drivers, two-player split screen gaming, and reactive race commentary. Game modes will consist of Quick Race, Practice and Career modes, which serves as a simulation of drivers racing and also includes management progression which players can follow throughout the season. Additional features include support for the Logitech ET Wheel, as well as digital, analog and force feedback support on the PS2 Dual Shock pad. The only question the remains is? How's it play? We'll have to reserve our impressions until later this year. Should the game be available at E3, we'll be certain to relay an update report at that time.
